This is a poem I wrote 2 years ago while looking after a friends sick children while she was away.
Rain rain is such a pain.
We see it everyday.
In winter, summer, spring and fall,
It will not stop at all.
But its OK
'Cause we can play
Inside its lots of fun.
There's a lot to do,
The whole year through,
Its fun for everyone!

I love it when it rains! I love the smell, the feeling, and especially watching my girls outside with their umbrellas and rain coats. Plus, its nice to have an excuse to be inside and not out doing yard work.

I am ready for the rain. Sitting inside all cozy with hot chocolate. But then, we don't get quite as much as you do!
SOMETIMES it's fun to go out, get wet, and jump in the puddles!
