This is a poem I wrote 2 years ago while looking after a friends sick children while she was away.
Rain rain is such a pain.
We see it everyday.
In winter, summer, spring and fall,
It will not stop at all.
But its OK
'Cause we can play
Inside its lots of fun.
There's a lot to do,
The whole year through,
Its fun for everyone!
I hope you enjoy your rainy day!

Beauty - where can YOU find it?
I have been enjoying a little peek in to my friends and family members lives as I connect with you on Facebook, through emails or blogs. As I was searching I found a post about professionally gifted violinist named Joshua Bell who played in Washington at the Metro station for 45 min. I found the newspaper article Pearls Before Breakfast and read pretty much the entire article. I would like to think I would have been one who would have stopped and listened grinning from ear to ear but would continue on with the day. The article mentions 2 lines of poetry. I love poetry so I looked it up and found it to be a thought provoking poem.
Leisure
W. H. Davies
WHAT is this life if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare?—
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
There are many things I love and enjoy. Today I am not going to share what I love.
Will you take a moment to ponder what it is you love?
